Sorry it’s been so quiet around here!  I recently started a new job (work from home – woo!) that gives me more time in the morning and evenings to be crafty (no more long commutes, yay!).  Soo, I’m hoping to be posting at the very least weekly!  I have a TON to tell you guys, but since today is Halloween I’m going to put some news on hold and share with you the invitations I created with the help of my new brother-in-law for my sister’s bridal shower.

My sister got married a few weeks ago, and in September the bridesmaids and myself threw her a Nightmare Before Christmas bridal shower.  I know, you’re thinking, “excuse me?”  But honestly, my sister has been obsessed with Nightmare, and collects any and all Nightmare related memorabilia.  And I couldn’t resist using it for the theme of her shower.  So was SO excited when she finally saw the invites.  Zack (Aubrey’s husband) drew the Jack and Sally outstretched arms that was displayed on the front of the card.

And I designed the back.

I also created food and drink labels for the party – these were a hit!

For one of the games, we played bridal bingo.  With a Nightmare twist, of course.

And for the gift table, I used the same drawing from Zack but added the date of the wedding and framed it in an 11×14 frame.

It was a great party.  I can’t wait to share with you her wedding invitations I did!  Perhaps I’ll post on those next week :)
