Christmas Crunch Time

December 17th, 2010

Ok, so you have one week (GASP!) until Christmas, and if you’re like me, you’re going to desperately need this weekend to get your gift list back on track.  Here are a few tutorials I’ve found, used, and loved for gifts – all with less than 1 hour of labor involved!

1. Elf Stockings

This tutorial, from Sew4Home, is really simple to follow – and the stockings are just so adorable!  Click here to visit their site.

2. Spa Towel

Perfect for friends who live in tropical areas, or those who simply like to relax after a nice hot shower.

Click here to get the tutorial from Centsational Girl.

3. Tile Coasters

Customize them for the holidays, or to match your gift recipient’s home!  Click here for my super simple tutorial.

That’s all for today – and I’ll probably be pretty quiet around here until Monday.  If you live in the Central PA area, please stop by between 12 and 5 pm for the Blueprint Crafts Handmade Holiday Open House!

Everything in stock will be 25% off, and I’ll have lots of goodies to snack on!  Hope to see you there!

One Week Left

December 16th, 2010

It just hit me, there is only one week left to get everything done in time for Christmas….WHERE DID THE TIME GO!?

Well, for all your procrastinators out there (like myself) I’ve gathered a few tutorials for simple Christmas gifts that you can make in an hour or less!  Or, if you’re short on time, you can mosey on over to my shop and place an order – free shipping through December!

1. Coffee Cozy

To start off the list, we first have the Coffee Cozy!

All you need is a fat quarter, some light interfacing, matching thread, a hair tie, button, and this fabulous tutorial and pattern created by Erin Harris from House on Hill Road. Perfect for the coffee lovers in your life.

2. T-shirt Scarves

This was one of my first tutorials I shared on my blog – and it is super simple!

You can find my tutorial here.

3. Fun and Flirty Headbands

This is a great scrap buster project – and perfect for girls of all ages!

You can find a simple tutorial here at Calico.

I’ll have more tutorials for you tomorrow, but in the meantime I’d like to invite all of my followers to the first ever, Blueprint Crafts Handmade Holiday Open House!

Please feel free to stop by Saturday, and bring your friends!

Until next time!

Making a list

December 8th, 2010

As most of you know, this Saturday I am going to be participating in my second ever craft show, The Carlisle Christmas Craft Show!  If you’re in the Central Pennsylvania area, please try to stop by!  It’s being held this Saturday, December 11, at Carlisle Area High School from 9 am to 5 pm in the cafeteria.  There are going to be over 80 vendors (so huge!) including my good friend Marie Elena from Cupcakes by M.E.!

Anyways, I wanted to share some of the items that I have finished and will be bringing to the crafts show!  First up, some lovely stockings:

Babes in Candyland

Poinsettias

And I’m also doing a handful of Peanuts stockings!  I believe this one is Shermy :)

I’ve also got a handful of lovely Christmas Tea Towels…

I have 8 of these red and gold ones, and I think I’m going to keep a pair for myself :)

Until next time!

Thank You!

December 1st, 2010

I just want to thank you all for the amazing love and support that you have given me and Blueprint Crafts.  Yesterday I launched my Custom Catalog site, and I have had such positive responses from all of you, and even a few orders!  SO EXCITING!  But I couldn’t have done it without you guys, so thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!

Before I go, I finished up a Coffee Cozy order this weekend for my lovely friend, Heather.  Her family and friends are just going to love these!

A few for the guys:
And the girls:
And did you notice?
I created a new logo for December!
I’ve got lots of crafting ahead of me for my upcoming Christmas Craft Show at Carlisle High School next Saturday, so stay tuned as I post some more goodies!

It’s Too Soon To Be Thinking About Christmas

September 21st, 2010

I know, I know!  You’re probably thinking – it’s not even officially fall yet!  But I was asked to design Christmas cards for my family’s business, and I just wanted to share with you what I had made up.

What do you think?  I would LOVE to get some feedback!!
